If a thief forces you to take money from an ATM, do not argue or resist. What you should do is punch your pin in reverse. EX: if your pin is 1234 you punch 4321. The moment you punch in the reverse, the money will come out but will be stuck in the machine and the machine will immediately alert the police without the theif’s knowledge. Every ATM has this feature.

I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about these sorts of posts recently, but you know what?
It’s lovely that you all write fanfiction. It’s lovely that you love to write about your favourite characters and come up with creative plots and entirely new universes to place them in and expand on the canon. And the fact that you write it in your own time, for free, is staggering. No one is paying you to write fanfiction and you receive nothing but comments and a few friends and sometimes some fanart in return.
Fanfiction is amazing because it give us access to creative works that may never have seen the light of day before the internet, because some people don’t have the resources to get a book published, or don’t live in a community that embraces fanworks and conventions of a particular fandom, and therefore may never have had access to things like zines.
but.
BUT.
I love people freaking out about getting constructive feedback on their fics. In fact, this is one of my favourite wanks of all time, even though it’s little, because they freaked out about getting concrit in a voluntary feedback meme. The irony is so beautiful.
Also: epithets are generally bad. I mean, if you want to use a lot of them, cool—it’s your story! But I probably won’t read your fic. They remind me of cheesy romance novels, and if that’s what I was into I’d be at home reading the newest 50 Shades of Grey book or whatever.
Sometimes people say that they write for themselves, and while I’m sure that’s partially true, they’re also writing for their readers. If they weren’t, they wouldn’t be publishing their work online. And you’d think part of the goal would be to improve… but I’ve found that that’s not the case, more often than not. I don’t leave criticism at all, because I’ve seen it go bad so many times. But I do exit the fic if I see one too many “dimpled younger brothers” (amongst many other pet peeves).

So… today I watched all eight aired episodes of Hannibal, and like ten episodes of Gilmore Girls. And I graded about two thirds of my marking stack. And now I’m a wreck.

The wonderful and talented Bran1313 just today made a Sam version of their lovely Dean art. <3
If you enjoy the art please consider going to the artist’s DA and give them some feedback. :)
